Milk Steaming and Latte Preparation

Did you know our espresso blend won the Bronze medal in the category of milk based drinks in the Golden Bean National Competition? Come learn why.  This course is a hands on session with our espresso equipment and grinders to pull and extract the best espresso and prepare the best latte. You will also learn to prepare a cortado, one of our signature drinks.

You will learn about the science and art behind great latte preparation, including heat management, pouring and using various kinds of milk and non dairy products.

Participants will get to try first hand our signature espresso blends, El Dorado and Quixote. You will also experiment with one of our favorite home made syrups for a flavored latte.

It is recommended that the basic espresso class be taken before this class as espresso preparation is important for a good latte.

Clarification: Although you will learn how to develop texture that is proper for latte art, this is not a latte art class, as latte art literally takes months of practice in milk preparation. 

This is a 1 hour session and requires a 2 person minimum.
