x - La Mancha Espresso
We've been busy at Cervantes testing and tasting our various coffee origins in the past few months. In conversations with customers, feedback from some of our wholesale accounts, and a long process of internal fine tuning, we have developed this new low acidity espresso blend. We call it LA MANCHA!
La Mancha is the region of Spain where the Quixote lived out all his adventures. It is a natural and historical region located in the Spanish provinces of Albacete, Cuenca, Ciudad Real and Toledo. La Mancha is an arid but fertile plateau (610 m or 2000 ft.) that stretches from the mountains of Toledo to the western spurs of the hills of Cuenca. We’ve travelled through that part of Spain so many times, and with such memorable experiences, that we thought it would be the perfect name for our new adventure in coffee for espresso. The blend contains Colombian coffee from the Huila region and a coffee from India, which provides that touch of acidity that turns into a sweet syrup as we brew it. We encourage you to try this adventurous new blend only from Cervantes Coffee Roasters.
La Mancha notes: low acidity espresso, with hints of nuts and smooth after taste. This espresso blend does not have fruity notes but rather a touch of spice and sweet finish.
